The TC-201 offers the performance of a muscle back with the increased forgiveness of a cavity back. The progressive weighting in the sole provides a lower center of gravity in the long irons for added height and higher trajectory on longer shots. Slightly changing to a higher center of gravity in the short irons creates a lower trajectory and more control on shorter shots. Constant weight towards the heel and toe helps with off center shots. The sole design contributes significantly to the playability and forgiveness of this club and the minimal offset paired with the top line at address inspires confidence. The TC-201 is a player’s iron that acts as a replacement for the CB-1008 and perfectly complements the MB-101.

I switched to these clubs after playing the 401s. Much better control of the ball, although don’t hit it as far.
I did have to add some lead tape to increase the weight which has helped with control further.
Beautifully designed. the progressive weight at the back of the club changes throughout the set, providing the feel made for each club. When pure contact is made, it's absolutely buttery. The top line looks like a blade but plays like a mid-size without the bulkiness. Highly recommend getting fitted for the shafts first!
These are wonderful irons. I’ve played Miura’s for about 12 years, and these are some of the best. If you aren’t quite up for blades, but want a blade look, give these a shot. Highly recommend!
The feel is incredible it’s hard to describe. The biggest thing I noticed is the turf interaction. It glides through with ease. The balance and weight of the club is also perfect. When you look down at the club and realize Mr. Muira played a role in ensuring that club was made to perfection it hits just a little bit different. Thank you for creating such a masterpiece and I look forward to playing your clubs for the rest of my golfing career.
Best irons I’ve ever played !!!!!
