Q: Are Miura irons mass produced?

A: Miura irons are not mass produced and in fact, most of the manufacturing process is done by hand. Miura-san still occupies the number one chair on the grinding line and watching him work is like watching an artist work.

Q: What materials do you use to manufacture your irons?

A: We forge our irons with premium soft carbon steel. What separates Miura irons from our competition is the unique manufacturing process which Miura-san developed over 40 years ago. To learn more about the Miura forging process, see our Forging Process page.

Q: Can I purchase directly from Miura Golf?

A: Yes, a selection of equipment and accessories are available through our Miura Golf Shop.

Q: How do I know my Miura irons are authentic?

A: The only way to ensure your Miura irons are authentic is to purchase them through the Miura Golf shop or an authorized dealer. If you have any concerns about the authenticity of any Miura iron, please take the club to an authorized Miura dealer. The dealer will work directly with our customer service staff to help confirm any suspicions you may have.

If the price is too good to be true, then it most likely is.

Q: Do I need to be fitted in order to purchase Miura irons?

A: We cannot overstate the importance of being properly fitted. Identifying the proper shaft, grip, lie angle, and length will contribute to the overall performance of your Miura irons. If you already have your specifications, an authorized Miura dealer will be able to build your equipment to meet those requirements.

Q: What is the standard length?

A: As custom fitting for golf clubs continues to evolve, the standard length is also evolving. Currently, 37.5″ for a 6-iron with a steel shaft is the standard referenced in the manufacturing of Miura club heads.

Q: Why are left-handed options so limited?

A: We recognize the importance of offering Miura irons to all golfers. We currently have a blade and cavity back iron, as well as wedges and putters. We plan to add to the left-handed line in 2019.

Q: I am looking to replace an older Miura model but I don’t see it on your website.

A: If you don’t see a particular model on our website, you can contact customer service: info@miuragolf.com, and one of our representatives will be able to assist. Although most models stay in our product lineup for 4 years, we do maintain a limited inventory of legacy models.

Q: How do I become a Miura dealer?

Q: Does Miura Golf offer a discount program for college and university players?

Q: Are there professionals playing Miura irons on tour?

A: Miura Golf’s policy is that we do not pay professionals to play our clubs. As such, we do not have the rights to use their names to promote our products. We recommend you review public information sources in this regard. However, many top professionals on all major tours choose to play Miura irons and wedges because they want to play their best, knowing the importance of quality equipment can have on their performance.
