Katsuhiro Miura has spent 5 years perfecting the KM-700. Designed to deliver the club head to square at impact, this revolutionary design is made possible only by Miura’s proprietary manufacturing techniques in concert with the grinding expertise of the Miura Craftsmen. The never ending search for perfection included numerous iterations of the head, all the while searching for the optimum weight distribution. The result is a club which will allow all golfers to get the most out of their game.

OPTIMIZED PERFORMANCE
The unique shape and weight distribution on the back of the head optimizes the center of gravity position for each iron. This revolutionary club head design, seen most notably with the toe grind, also promotes a return to square at impact, benefitting all golfers.
MORE FORGIVENESS
This club head also features a revolutionary hosel and heel design which allows for moving the center of gravity 3mm closer to the toe, 35mm from the heel. (7 iron) The bigger “sweet spot” promotes a playability which is similar to what one might see in a wood. Off center hits are straighter and farther.
STAMP OF APPROVAL
The five-year journey that led to the creation of the KM-700 involved Miura-san’s mentoring of future generations of Miura Craftsmen. A suggestion by one of his proteges, in fact, contributed to the innovative design of these irons. While searching for optimum weight distribution, numerous iterations of the head were designed until the result of a playable club for golfers of all levels was achieved. This achievement is signified by Miura-san’s stamp of approval, the red hanko stamp, on the back cavity of every iron.

Now, having played all these clubs regularly for years, I must say that the KM-700 is by far my favorite set of Irons. You did a fantastic job building the set to my specifications and I wanted to express my sincerest gratitude for the quality of the product delivered.
As you are aware, very few people know the secret of Master craftsman, Katsuhiro Miura. And that is, Miura irons are forged once every 4 years from a guarded vat of magic steel preserved by the ghosts of Samurai from the last eruption of Mt Fuji (hopefully that made you laugh!)

There's nothing like a Miura. These are no exception. One of the cleanest designs I've seen and the performance matches. Looks like the ultimate players iron but is still easy to square up and put a good strike on the ball. They look really good in the bag too...

What i think at the first time, It is so beautiful, i want them in my bag! So i ordered online without try! I never hit the blade before, but Miura makes me shake for its feel. Deep love! After playing my old Callaway X-16 for 20years, I decided to treat myself to a new set of irons. When I went to get fitted, I finally experieced the "Miura Feel" for the first time. Hard to describe in words but it is such a satisfying tactile feedback. What surprised me the most is how forgiving these irons were on off-center hits as well in spite of being non-cavity backs. The sole design also offers a nice turf interaction where by irons glide nicely through the turf vs getting stuck.
I'm currently the envy of all my playing partners. Just a chef's kiss to Miura for creating an amazing product.
