A Putter Built Around Precision, Balance, and Simplicity

The KM-008 embodies Katsuhiro Miura's philosophy of precision, balance, and simplicity. Designed with a compact profile and traditional proportions, it frames the ball with exceptional clarity — promoting confidence, focus, and precision at address. Every detail, from head shape to neck and hosel geometry, has been meticulously refined to create a putter that feels intuitive in the hands and naturally returns the face square through impact.

Dismissing the Trend

Miura-san began development of the original Baby Blade and the KM-008 in the early 2000s. At the time, driver heads were growing larger, built for greater distance and directional stability. Irons soon followed the same path — evolving to offer more distance and forgiveness without requiring more skill from the player.

During this shift, Miura-san felt a strong desire to buck the trend and stay true to the basic performance and shape of both irons and putters. Today's larger putter heads tend to require stiffer shafts, whereas smaller heads allow for a softer shaft — making it easier to sense head balance and utilize its flex.

For the KM-008, weight accuracy, dimensional accuracy, and density accuracy were paramount — the way to deliver maximum effectiveness with minimal effort. The result is unprecedented feel and performance: better distance control, more putts made, and fewer three-putts.

An Intentional Design

01

Intentional Size

By making the head smaller, Miura-san made it easier to focus on the ball while improving the balance of the head itself — giving the golfer confidence that it will return square at impact.

02

Signature Hosel Shape

Miura-san focused R&D on the outer diameter, length, and polished shape of the neck to achieve a hosel shape unique to this model — refined to keep the eye on the ball and the head naturally square at impact.

03

Premier Material

Japanese SUS303 stainless steel is prized for its corrosion resistance, exceptional machinability, and soft acoustic feel — delivering quiet, refined feedback at impact.

"A club maker's chief joy is seeing the user of their clubs, regardless of ability, improve his or her game and enjoy it more because they're using better equipment." — Katsuhiro Miura

The Hanko Stamp

Every Miura club is crafted to the highest standard, but only the most treasured designs bear the hanko stamp of founder Katsuhiro Miura. In Japan, a hanko stamp is more than a signature — it is a mark of authenticity, legacy, and personal approval.

The KM-008 is one of those rare designs: compact and uncompromising, reflecting Miura-san's purest vision of what a blade putter should be. With his hanko stamped into every head, this limited-edition model isn't only a putter — it's a piece of Miura history.

Frequently Asked

What is the KM-008?

A limited-edition blade putter inspired by Katsuhiro Miura's original vision for putter design. Rather than chasing larger head shapes or higher-MOI designs, the KM-008 reflects a philosophy of refining putting performance through precision, balance, and simplicity.

Why is the KM-008 considered limited?

The KM-008 is being produced in extremely limited quantities worldwide. Once the initial allocation is sold through, no additional production is currently planned — availability is based on allocation, not ongoing production.

What material is used in the KM-008?

It's milled from premium Japanese SUS303 stainless steel — the Japanese Industrial Standard equivalent of 303-grade stainless steel, long regarded as one of the premier materials for high-end putter manufacturing.

What type of golfer is the KM-008 designed for?

Golfers who appreciate traditional blade putter aesthetics and prioritize feel, feedback, and precision — a clean look at address and a putter that rewards a consistent stroke.

How does it differ from modern high-MOI putters?

Many modern putters focus on stability through larger footprints and heavier perimeter weighting. The KM-008 takes a different approach — balance, precision, and craftsmanship in a traditional profile, without sacrificing feedback or feel.

Is the KM-008 face milled?

Yes. The face features precision milling designed to promote consistent roll, predictable speed control, and a soft yet responsive feel at impact.

Will the KM-008 be offered in left-handed?

No. The KM-008 is being produced exclusively in right-handed models.
