The MC-501 (Muscle Cavity) combines the playability of a blade with the forgiveness of a cavity back. Incorporating the iconic “Y” Grind created by Yoshitaka Miura, the MC-501 delivers solid ball contact and will appeal to players beyond the low-handicapped golfer.
Miura’s Black QPQ finish is the product of a careful, labor-intensive process that works the pigment into the top layer of steel in the golf club head. The resulting finish has an appealing depth, is durable and retains the feel and performance of a Miura iron. Over time, the Black QPQ will wear into a patina, especially on the parts of the club that contact the ball and the ground — that is, the face and the sole. This finishing process does not affect the quality or durability of the club. But of course, it does change the appearance over time.
